Launch Starship Flight 15 (Booster 22 and Ship 42)

Nov 12

NET than Nov 12 – SpaceX’s Starship Flight 15 aims to achieve the first-ever double stage tower catch, where the launch tower’s mechanical arms will try to recover both the Super Heavy booster and the Starship upper stage back at Starbase.

The mission plans to launch Ship 42 into low Earth orbit for an extended duration of roughly 24 hours to deploy Starlink V3 satellites and test propellant behavior across 15 to 16 orbits. Following orbital operations, the ship will attempt a controlled atmospheric reentry, guide itself back to the launch site, and execute a vertical landing flip to be caught by the tower, while the Super Heavy booster repeats its previously demonstrated catch maneuver—marking a critical leap toward full, rapid rocket reusability.
