The Northrop Grumman SpaceLogistics MRV-1 mission features the first commercial robotic servicer Next Spaceflight. Equipped with robotic arms developed with DARPA and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory SpaceNews, the MRV will transport and install up to thirty 400 kg Mission Extension Pods (MEPs) on satellites in GEO Supercluster. For this inaugural mission, the MRV carries three MEPs, with two servicing Intelsat satellites and one servicing an Optus satellite Factories in Space.
