Ceremony: Congressional Space Medal of Honor to the Artemis II Crew

At 10:00 CDT, the Artemis 2 crew will participate in a ceremony from NASA’s Johnson Space Center and be awarded the Congressional Space Medal by the US President.
Being honored are:
- Commander Reid Wiseman (NASA)
- Pilot Victor Glover (NASA)
- Mission Specialist Christina Koch (NASA)
- Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen (Canadian Space Agency)
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman will also join the event.
The crew is receiving America’s top spaceflight honor following their historic 10-day lunar flyby in April 2026. As the first humans to venture past the Moon in over 50 years, they set a new record for the farthest distance ever traveled from Earth.
