LSSW: Artemis II Science

Lunar Surface Science Workshop (LSSW) will feature the public release of data from the most recent observations of the lunar farside by the Artemis II crew. The Artemis II mission successfully returned humans to the lunar vicinity in the first time in over 53 years. Crew members Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hanson made observations of the Moon, Earth, and experienced a solar eclipse during the lunar flyby. The LSSW will include a rollout of data findings by the Lunar Science Team. Participants will be briefed on the publicly available reports, planned for release on October 7 to coincide with this LSSW, and Planetary Data System products. The Lunar Science Team will be available to respond to questions.
