2026 NASA Exploration Science Forum (NESF2026)

Hosted by SSERVI Central Team at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field CA, USA; online option available. The Forum will feature in-depth analyses of research targeting human and robotic exploration of the Moon and other planetary bodies. Attendees will hear updates and results from leading mission scientists and engineers, and join public discussions with NASA leadership to learn more about the direction of the Agency and community. Mentoring and networking opportunities for students and young professionals will include LunGradCon (Lunar and Small Bodies Graduate Forum) and student competitions for best presentation and poster. Interwoven among the science sessions are ways for all of us to get involved.

Student Poster and Oral Presentation Competitions: Winner of the oral and poster competitions will each receive a $1,500 travel award. Those in 2nd and 3rd place will each receive $1,000 travel awards. Interested students must indicate that they want to participate in either competition when submitting an abstracts. Registration and Student Travel Support: SSERVI will make available some funds for registration and student travel support. When the NESF2026 registration system opens, there will be an opportunity to apply for this support. So please watch for this opportunity and apply!
